Technical Note
A pair of guitar harmonics play, separated by over nine seconds. The transposition of the pair and their respective pitches are randomly drawn from a collection of potential choices. After five seconds (and possibly again after ten seconds) the same pair commences again, although potentially at a different transposition. The process repeats after 28 seconds, but using the next collection of possible choices. There is a series of five such collections to draw from. After 140 seconds, the whole cycle repeats, but with different selections.
In addition to the sounds described immediately above, time-stretched renditions of a guitar harmonic play in the background. Also, reversed guitar harmonics, playing at various pitches, are scattered randomly throughout each 140-second cycle. A variety of effects are used on the sounds.
